UPDATE: Odessa Police investigating shooting that left two in critical condition

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - UPDATE:

Detectives are still investigating all of the details of the shooting this afternoon. Currently, two people are in the hospital with life threatening injuries. The assigned detectives have identified all parties involved in this shooting. There is no continuing threat to the public.

This incident started as a verbal argument between two parties. The involved parties then escalated their behavior, which led to the shooting incident. We would like to thank the citizens on Snyder for their patience during this investigation.

Currently at the hospital are Zacimbricc White (24) and Jason Crowder (28).

OPD is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Snyder. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternative routes until further advised.
